Paola A. Prada is a research assistant professor at the Institute for Forensic Science at Texas Tech University. Her studies encompass interdisciplinary areas such as chemistry, animal behavior, and national security to address issues that are critical to effective intelligence and defense capabilities. She has worked extensively on developing instrumental methods for human odor identification for criminal investigations. Dr. Prada has also worked with canine scent detection in the context of optimizing odor collection techniques for scent training. She is one of the authors of the book Human Scent Evidence.

Simon Prins has worked for over two decades as a dog handler and specialist expertise for Netherlands Police and National Crime Squad. He has won international acclaim as an innovative trainer for his work with camera dogs, explosive detection dogs and search and rescue dogs. Training animals into high risk operations lead to a whole new concept of animal training. Prins believes that it’s all about positive reinforcement, creating safe learning environments, setting criteria and clear communication. Harri Gustafsberg, M. A. – iPREP Developer and Trainer

Mr. Gustasfberg has worked as a law enforcement officer since 1990. He is a veteran police officer for 25 years. His last post was chief inspector at the Police University College of Finland, 2014. He served as a member of the Finnish National Special Intervention Unit called KARHU for 22 years. During his years of service, Mr. Gustasfberg worked as a member of the SIU, then as an expert use of force instructor, operational commander, and K9 Instructor.
